LILIA ALCARAZ is a recognized expert in US immigration law. She advises foreign investors who seek start-up assistance in US markets, and she regularly assists companies with key-employee relocation projects, tax-transfer pricing strategies, and US government I-9 compliance audits. Ms. Alcaraz has served as a consulting and compliance attorney for immigration and employment-verification issues during large corporate mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. She has also appeared as lead counsel in over 40 successful cases before US Immigration Courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.


Ms. Alcaraz took undergraduate degrees in psychology and Spanish at The University of Arizona. She later read law at Arizona State University (ASU), and finished advanced training in global trade at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. After law school, she earned a post-graduate degree in international tax law (LLM) from the University of Denver.


As the first member of her family who was born in the United States, Lilia Alcaraz is passionate about migrant rights and US immigration policy. She is particularly devoted to the needs of families, entrepreneurs, and young people with disabilities.


Ms. Alcaraz divides her time between Arizona and Southern California.
